Updating Company Information in a Modification

If you make changes to your company information AFTER you receive an award, you will need to contact your Contracting Officer and request a modification. Those changes will be picked up when you respond to a modification OR through an Administrative modification only.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT SAM/VIPR SHARED DATA
- If you have changes to your company name, company DBA, company address, or mailing address, you should make the changes in your SAM record, and then use the "View/Import from SAM" button in the vendor application to import the changes into VIPR. This company information in VIPR MUST match the information in your SAM record or you will be unable to respond to a modification to an agreement. - Also, you MUST have an active SAM record in order to respond to a modification.

- All other company changes can be made by you through the vendor application.

Remember, only your response to a Rollover modification or Resource Type Correction modification will pick up any LSA or Business Status changes that you have made after an award. All other company changes will be picked up through these types of modifications: Rollover, Standard and/or Change End Date, Resource Type Correction, Inspection Correction, and Administrative.
